One of the things I love about doing UNB and the podcasts is discovering communities around the world that are bringing guys together over the gear and fetishes they love.
I recently came across Alianza Fetish & Leather LATAM (AFLL), and this is definitely a group more people need to know about.
AFLL brings together fetish communities from across Latin America, including leather, rubber, pups, rope, kink, collars, gear, BDSM and more. Their message is incredibly simple:
Everyone belongs here. Your tribe is here.
And I absolutely love that.
One thing I have learned through Brief Talk and Stretching the Truth is how important it is to find other people who understand your interests. Whether that’s underwear, leather, spandex, rubber, sports gear, pup gear or something completely different, there is something powerful about realizing you aren’t the only person who loves it.
AFLL is working to create those connections across Latin America.
The alliance brings together established fetish and leather groups throughout the region while helping increase visibility, build community and create spaces where people can explore their interests without shame.
What really caught my attention is that this isn’t just about parties.
Their member groups are doing education, community events, art, Pride appearances, fetish gatherings and outreach. They’re also putting a strong emphasis on consent, respect, safety, privacy and supporting the different communities that make up the larger fetish world.
And later this year they’re bringing many of those communities together.
Monterrey 2026
From November 25–29, 2026, Monterrey, Mexico will host the 2nd Encuentro Fetish LATAM.
For five days, the city will become a gathering place for Latin America’s fetish community with gear, art, nightlife, conversations, brotherhood, community and freedom of expression.
AFLL has one line on its site that I absolutely love:
“It’s the moment when LATAM puts on its harness.”
How can you not love that?
I also love seeing organizations like this because fetish culture doesn’t belong to just one city, one country or one type of guy.
We need more opportunities for leather guys, rubber guys, pups, spandex guys, gear guys and everyone else under the fetish umbrella to discover each other rather than staying separated in our individual corners of the community.
That’s how communities grow.
That’s how people realize they aren’t alone.
And that’s how someone who has quietly loved a particular type of gear for years finally finds his tribe.
